DIRADIO,
DICOMUNITÀ, DIWEB— PADUA ARCHDIOCESE REACHES TO YOUTH
WITH BRIGHT COLORS, SOUNDS
Padova (Padua),
Apr 5 (CRU)— The Catholic radio station in the ancient
city of Padova, known as Padua in the English speaking
world, used to be called Erretre (R3) Radio Ricerca Realtá.
It has been renamed and perhaps reformatted in a very clear
attempt to reach Italian youth. Now DiRadio, it is
part of the “Di” website and diocesan outreach.
The “Dicomunità” website features the community of
Padua and, surprisingly, is a lively entrance to the
diocesan website. “Diweb” is a portal run by the
diocese that offers chat rooms and free e-mail to the people
of Padova. Clearly, it is directed to young people.
One rarely sees such a lively website for a Catholic diocese.
