MARTY ROTELLA

I started playing Piano at the very young age of 5 which was taught to me by my older brother Jules. By the time I was 15 years old, I joined a wedding band with my father, uncles, and my brother Jules. By 18 years old, I was writing pop music and by the time I hit 25 years old, I was writing religious music. It has stuck with me ever since. I realized that this was a God given talent, when my songwriting just came to me and I wasn't trying to write the songs. I realized at this point that it was a God given talent and it was God speaking to me-telling me to pass on his message through my music. My songwriting style come from the great rock bands with horn sections from the 1970's, such as Earth, Wind , & Fire, Chicago and even Michael Jackson. My piano skills come directly from my older brother Jules. My singing style comes from an early age imitating famous singers such as Frank Sinatra and Johnny Mathis. My writing comes from the urge to give something great to another person. Songs are the greatest gifts to give to the world. At 25 years old, I found the love of Christ. This joy of finding Jesus has led me to write about it and share it with others.
To write my songs I am inspired by God and the gift of love. My music has developed through the experiences of pain, suffering, and rejection. My best songs have come out from these feelings. My goals for the future is to go multimedia. Television, A new musical, and major motion pictures. I want to help people better love themselves, God, and each other. I want to continue with it onto bigger and better things. Spirit Power will help revive the worlds love.
